Welcome to the ACT Consortium
The ACT Consortium is an international research collaboration formed in November 2007 to answer key questions on malaria drug delivery in Africa and Asia.
Although there is considerable evidence about the efficacy of artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACTs), there is little evidence on how best to deploy this WHO-recommended treatment.
Our goal is to develop and evaluate delivery mechanisms to improve ACT access, targeting, safety and quality.
The ACT Consortium is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and has partners throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. It is coordinated through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Nowhere to Hide, a special awareness campaign
Mozzies: They can fly but they can’t hide! That’s the sentiment behind Malaria No More UK’s latest awareness campaign: Nowhere To Hide. The campaign features a wily malaria-carrying anopheles mosquito hiding behind a series of seasonal disguises: Mozzy Bunny for Valentines and Easter and the Mozzy Classic Disguise in the lead up to World Malaria Day on 25 April 2012.
